Registration

If permission is required to be obtained, First apply for permission then apply for registration in the prescribed form, else apply in the prescribed form





Permission

Permission is required for registration for industries under Annexure-1

1. Apply for permission in the prescribed format through the Industry Registration body.
2. After obtaining permission apply for registration as above within time limit specified in the permission letter.





Extension of time limit for commencement of Operations

Industries Registered under this act shall commence operations within the time mentioned in the registration certificate

Extension can be filed before 1 month of expiry of such time without payment of late fees and within 6 months after the expiry of such time with payment of late fees





Increase in Capital, Capacity alteration of Objectives

The registered industries have to take approval from the IRB before any of the above. Not required for Micro Enterprises or cottage or small industry not requiring permission with a fixed capital of less than 1 crore. EIA or PET may be required to be done



Relocation of Industry

make an application to the IRB for relocation along with reasons in the prescribed form. Approval from department is needed if relocation is from one province to another
