Validity Period of Bid

Sub-Section 1

The validity period of a bid shall be as specified in the bidding documents.



Sub-Section 2

The period as referred to in Sub-section (1) shall commence from the deadline for the submission of bids.



Sub-Section 3

Notwithstanding anything contained in Sub-section (1), the Public Entity may, if so required to extend the validity period of bids after the opening of bids, extend the validity period of bids as required assigning the reasons for the same.
